Schuler Bumper Installation Instructions
Schuler Cues offers two standard bumper assemblies. The 20 gram (or .7oz) bumper which has 4 plastic washers and two rubber o-rings and the 40 gram (or 1.4oz) bumper which has 6 metal washers and 2 rubber o-rings.

How to remove the Schuler bumper
Using a 5/32 L shaped hex key loosen hex bolt counterclockwise following the illustration.
How to install the Schuler bumper
Reverse the procedure by pressing the bumper evenly against lip of butt plate. Lightly tap butt of the cue on the ground to insure in evenly in place. Using the 5/32 hex wrench tighten hex bolt clockwise, make sure you are holding the butt per illustration.
Adjusting the bumper assembly
If you wish to further adjust the Schuler bumper assembly some where in-between 20 and 40 grams by simply removing metal washers or replacing metal washers with plastic washers. Every metal washer weighs 4 grams.
